Regulations are frequently being created or amended as governing bodies around the world work to create stability and renewed growth in the financial sector. The ensuing man hours required to assess these changes are considerable – time that could be better spent on core business issues.
FRSGlobal’s Centre of Risk & Regulatory Excellence (CoR²E) is comprised of a team of global experts, many of whom have run risk and regulatory departments in the past. It is their role to interact with the regulators around the world, interpret the plethora of regulations they create and identify the changes to the reports that banks are required to submit.
The CoR²E team is responsible for maintaining the reports for each of the 40+ countries that are covered by the unique guarantee; "to keep reports up-to-date with regulators' requirements" - and in turn keeping the client compliant with the local regulator.
Noel O'Rourke, Regulatory Reporting Manager, EBS: "The fact that we can rely on FRSGlobal to help us deliver the correct reports in the new formats before the tight deadline provides us with a great deal of assurance. We will also be able to save a significant amount of compilation time and resource that can be utilised to perform meaningful analysis on our final outputs."
