FRSGlobal shortlisted for three risk management professional
awards

London – 26th July, 2010: FRSGlobal, the industry-recognised leader in content-rich solutions for unified global regulatory reporting and risk management, today announced that it has been shortlisted for three accolades at the inaugural Risk Management Professional Awards including Risk Management Service Provider of the Year and, in collaboration with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Europe for its liquidity management project, the Best Use of Technology in Risk Management and Best Use of Risk Management in Financial Services.

SMBC Europe’s liquidity management project included the selection of FRSGlobal’s liquidity solution. The combination of FRSGlobal's stress testing and regulatory reporting enables SMBC Europe to monitor, manage and report liquidity as well as build and develop a library of stress tests in accordance with the FSA’s requirements outlined in PS 09/16.

The Risk Management Awards have been designed to emphasise the importance of risk management as a key driver in business and to acknowledge and reward the specialists working within the sector. The primary criteria for judging include the delivery of definable and significant business benefits, innovation and originality of application. Project management issues, such as the scale and delivery on time and within budget, will also be taken into account.
