Over recent months we have seen a bail out of the Irish market and heard of impending regulatory changes that will be affecting firms in Ireland over the coming months and years.
As of January 1st 2011, Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) handed over all existing ongoing tasks and responsibilities to the European Banking Authority (EBA). At present this will not affect any existing European regulation from CEBS.
This document gives a brief overview of the changes ahead from both the Irish and European regulators.
