Minneapolis – 6th December 2010: Wolters Kluwer Financial & Compliance Services has been named one of the top 10 risk management technology firms in the 2010 Chartis Research RiskTech100™ report, a study of the top technology companies active in the risk management market. The report also lists Wolters Kluwer Financial & Compliance Services as the winner of its Regulatory Reporting category.

The company was evaluated for its various risk management offerings across its business units, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services and ARC Logics. A significant jump from 16th place last year was driven by Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ recent acquisition of FRSGlobal, a global financial regulatory reporting and risk management business (which ranked 11th on last year’s report). The report cites the acquisition of FRSGlobal as one of “the most important transactions of the last 12 months.”

The RiskTech100™ assessment criteria comprises six equally weighted categories: functionality, core technology, organizational strength, customer satisfaction, market presence and innovation.
