Using state-of-the art technology to meet real business demands

The new technology platform that RiskPro TNG utilises addresses three key issues:

High performance
The demand for high performance is ever increasing and has become an integral part of the Finance department's ability to run calculations on multiple scenarios.
It is clear that there is higher demand to understand the potential delta in value - as opposed to the actual value today. This demand means the Finance department will increasingly depend on powerful engines allowing for multiple scenario analyses covering a wide range of future circumstances.
The design of RiskPro TNG took performance as a main element in all aspects of development, together with grid computing, both of which will make the system fully scalable.

True thin client
We set out to build a system with a true thin client, which will allow users to interact with the system without the use of applets or other custom components. As the solution does not require any local installation it is compliant with some of the most strict policies implemented by IT & Security departments. We believe that a true thin client will assist the IT & Security departments to control the ever increasing security threats by keeping the deployment simple and straightforward.

Best of breed
TNG utilises a three-tier, client/server architecture in which the user interface, functional process logic, computer data storage and data access are developed and maintained as independent modules, using J2EE and Web 2.0. This choice of technology is an important strategic decision that will allow optimal performance and scalability.
